Feb 23 IPOC Winter Sangha
“Caring for myself is not self-indulgence, it is self-preservation!” ~ Audre Lorde
This workshop is built on the foundation that Indigenous Peoples and People of color have space to be together and breathe. We live in a society that demands we prove ourselves or quickly be denied. As such, we must cultivate community (sangha), we must make time to breathe, we must make space to be. This workshop focuses on building from within, tapping into our innate capacity to dream and live in harmony with the sacred movements of our planet and each other. There will be an all level practice, dharma talk and time for reflection.
SeritaYoga is run by teacher and activist Serita Colette. This offering supports Queer, GNC, Gender -Queer, Trans + IPOC. As such, this is a hate-free space to practice and be together!|
