Join Amy and Serita for two tranquil hours of restorative yoga with gentle hands-on adjustments. This brand new offering is not to be missed! You’ll leave feeling grounded, calm and deeply aligned with your own innate sense of well-being.
This workshop will include:
· A guided restorative yoga series utilizing props to support deeper relaxation of tissue, joints and muscles of the body
· Gentle hands-on adjustments from Amy and Serita to loosen up stiff muscles, joints and relax the body
· A ending practice of shitilikaran, (guided relaxation), a preparatory practice used for Yoga Nidra - sleep.
Restorative Yoga derives from the teachings of B.K.S. Iyengar as means of relaxing the entire body and mind. This workshop comes right in the midst of pitta season, a time of full sun, high heat and lots of energy. Like good Minnesotans we want to experience all that summer has to offer! Make space in your yoga practice for repose, rest and rejuvenation!
