Thank you to my teacher.
-Zenzele Isoke, professor, Zen Buddhist practitioner, author and Black feminist scholar
Serita created an incredibly healing and safe space. I was able to really tune into myself while being held as part of a BIPOC community on sacred land. The impact of this retreat is so much more than the few days we spent together. I left with a daily practice that Serita coached me 1:1 in creating specifically for me. I’ve been practicing my Sankalpa daily and have been inspired to make other changes in my life through the deep inner awareness this work is helping me cultivate. I developed an inner awareness of how substances like caffeine were wreaking havoc on my mind and body. Through the strength and awareness my daily practice offers - I have been able to let go of caffeine, decrease screen time, and let go of other addictions while being keenly aware of the benefits on my mental and physical state. The time in our retreat also inspired me to start locking up my phone for all but a few hours during the day - all of this has really improved my sleep and overall quality of life. This was a one of a kind empowering experience that cannot be replicated in a white owned and operated space. Deep gratitude to Serita for creating truly healing safe spaces that are affordable and grounded in our ancestral wisdom.

Life changing, transformational. I felt safe and cared for and seen in ways I’ve never experienced while on both retreats. Support Serita and her incredible work in the world.
